Louth Road closure 1st February 2026

Posted on

As mentioned in last Sunday’s service, Louth Road will be partially closed at the junction with St Giles Ave on Sunday, 1st February. There’s a tree at that junction that is being cut down, hence the road closure.

This will affect us for the service that day. Access to St Giles Ave from Grimsby will be via Church Lane (first left off Louth Road after the Scartho fork roundabout), and for those coming from the A16 Louth Road, access will be either via Pinfold Lane, up to the roundabout and back to Church Lane, or take a right into Westkirke Ave and come literally round the houses (Shaw Drive/Helvellyn Way/Glebe Rd/Grantham Ave/St Giles).

As it’s likely to increase journey times, maybe wise to allow a few minutes extra on Sunday.

Many thanks.
