Today is the Day of Pentecost, the 50th day since we celebrated Jesus’ resurrection. It’s the Feast of Weeks, Shavuot, the season of the giving of the Law at Sinai, the story of Ruth and Boaz, and the principle fulfillment, the pouring out of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost.
