Word of God
Welcome to the recording of yesterday’s message from Matt concerning our standing in the Lord. The inspirational video That’s My King! follows the message below.
Before that are two worship videos, firstly King of Kings and Lord of Glory by Karen Davis, and secondly the old classic Gospel hymn, He’s Coming Soon by Gloria Bailey. Bless you!
Good morning. Despite all the difficulties of life in lockdown Britain we can thank God for all His goodness towards us. The risen Lord has promised to never leave us nor forsake us. Praise God for that!
Today Matt is bringing God’s Word to us, below. Before that, here is another joyous praise video from Paul Wilbur, ‘Salvation Belongs to our God’, declaring the Word of the Lord from Revelation 7. Read the rest of this entry »

Psalm 121: I will lift up my eyes to the hills — From whence comes my help? 2 My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. 3 He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. 4 Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep.5 The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade at your right hand. 6 The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night.7 The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. 8 The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in, from this time forth, and even forevermore.
Psalm 19: 7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; 8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes; 9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. 11 Moreover by them Your servant is warned,
And in keeping them there is great reward.
Jeremiah 49: 34 The word of the Lord that came to Jeremiah the prophet against Elam, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying, 35 “Thus says the Lord of hosts:
‘Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, The foremost of their might. 36 Against Elam I will bring the four winds From the four quarters of heaven, And scatter them toward all those winds; There shall be no nations where the outcasts of Elam will not go. 37 For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies And before those who seek their life. I will bring disaster upon them, My fierce anger,’ says the Lord; ‘And I will send the sword after them Until I have consumed them. 38 I will set My throne in Elam, And will destroy from there the king and the princes,’ says the Lord.39 ‘But it shall come to pass in the latter days: I will bring back the captives of Elam,’ says the Lord.”
