The Promised Land – Fulfilment
Good evening. Our services continue despite the restrictions placed upon churches by the Government regulations. It is a now a long time since the lockdown was first imposed, at the time the reasons given were to protect the NHS and save lives. Now however, the circumstances of the virus have changed dramatically since the peak of infections in mid-March (before the lockdown was imposed), with a very low risk of infection in our area. Jesus taught us to ‘Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s, and to God that which is God’s’, Matthew 22:21. That is what we as a church are seeking to do.
I recommend the following article by John MacArthur of Grace Community Church in California. It is pertinent to their situation in the US, but it comprehensively adresses the current difficulties churches are dealing with in this time: Christ not Caesar is Head of the Church
Below are the recordings of our time together this morning. Glen brought to us the reading of Psalm 96, and Eva & Steve both shared a testimony. I shared again in the series looking at The Promised Land.
Firstly though, here is a worship video of Bless the Lord O my Soul from Matt Redman.
Here is the audio of the reading and sharing:
And here is the audio of today’s Word:
Colossians 2:9-10: For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.
