The God of Glory, the Light of the World
Good morning and welcome to our online version of our service this morning. We are currently restricted from holding church services at this time, yet again, so please find below two worship videos and our message for this week.
The videos are from Tim Hughes, Here I am to Worship, and Karen Davis, All Creation Sings (this song features quotes from Psalm 29, which also feature in our message today).
May you be blessed and encouraged as you join with us in worshipping the Lord and hearing from His Word.
Every blessing, Andy.
The God of Glory, the Light of the World:
Psalm 29: Give unto the Lord, O you mighty ones, Give unto the Lord glory and strength.
2 Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
3 The voice of the Lord is over the waters; The God of glory thunders; The Lord is over many waters.
4 The voice of the Lord is powerful; The voice of the Lord is full of majesty.
John 1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
John 8:10 When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?” 11 She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”
12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
