Jesus the Lamb of God
For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. 1Cor.6:20
Here is the audio from yesterday’s message, in which we looked at an overview of the time leading up to, and including, Jesus’ death on the cross. Recommended reading in concert with the message is from John 12 through to John 19.
Before that we have a video from Graham Kendrick, Amazing Love, and from Christy Nockels, Wrap This One Up.
Welcome to the recording of our carol service from Sunday evening. May we take this opportunity to wish everyone a wonderful Christmas as you find joy and peace in knowing the Lord Jesus Christ, whose birth we celebrate in this service.
Before the recording are two music videos, a Christmas classic from Cliff Richard, Little Town, followed by O Holy Night by Celtic Worship.
Here is the audio recording of the whole service. The service actually starts at 10 minutes in and the message starts at 45 minutes in.
Christmas Gospel, Andy King, 19th December 2021:
Luke 2: 8 Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. 10 Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. 11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12 And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”
Good evening. This morning we looked at the events of the week before Jesus’s death and resurrection, and how Jesus completed the work His Father had given Him. Below is the recording from this morning’s service, with Dawn’s introduction first, followed by the Word from Andy.
Firstly here are two videos, the brilliant Wesley hymn And Can It Be by Stuart Townend, followed by The Sacrifice Lamb by Joshua Aaron.
It Is Finished!
John 19:28-30 After this, Jesus, knowing that all was now finished, said (to fulfill the Scripture), “I thirst.” 29 A jar full of sour wine stood there, so they put a sponge full of the sour wine on a hyssop branch and held it to his mouth. 30 When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
Here is the concluding message of this study of the end (of-the-age) times Scriptures. It features a general overview and the importance of remembering Lot and his wife!
