Good morning and welcome to the recording from yesterday’s service. Before that are three worship videos related to the message, in order of Biblical reference, Ascribe Greatness by Evolsiay Tulip, From Everlasting to Everlasting by Karen Davis and The Song of Moses by Paul Wilbur.
Also, as announced yesterday and as stated on our Welcome page, please note next Sunday, 20th November, we will be meeting at Scartho Library as usual, and not at Calvary Church as previously announced.
Welcome to the audio from today’s service, below. Before that there are two classic songs that reflect the message, firstly the classic from 2nd Chapter of Acts, Mansion Builder, and secondly from Keith Green live, My Eyes are Dry.
God’s House – Our Hearts, Andy King, 27 March 2022: (apologies for poor recording quality)
Hebrews 3: Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus, 2 who was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was faithful in all His house. 3 For this One has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as He who built the house has more honor than the house. 4 For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God. 5 And Moses indeed was faithful in all His house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which would be spoken afterward, 6 but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.
Ephesians 2:19 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.
