NTM, testimonies and the example of Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego

Good afternoon and welcome to the recording from this morning’s service. We started today by referencing a tweet shared by Franklin Graham, and sharing how, despite the narrative of fear in our country at present, the Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but love, power and a sound mind, 2Timothy 1:7. In these times, Corrie Ten Boom is someone we can look at and learn lessons from.

Today we heard from Matt Petley on the history and work of New Tribes Mission, based near us at North Cotes, and testimonies from Matt and Nathan & Maria. Matt also shared regarding the lessons we can draw from Daniel 3.
Before that, here are two worship videos, the first from Paul Balouche, Praise is Rising, and the second from Robin Mark, Be unto Your Name.
Bless you, Andy.
Here is the message from today. There is a presentation that goes along with the message. We are at present unable to host the presentation on the website but if you would like a copy, please email to request one.
Daniel 3: 1-6: Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was [a]sixty cubits and its width six cubits. He set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon. 2 And King Nebuchadnezzar sent word to gather together the satraps, the administrators, the governors, the counselors, the treasurers, the judges, the magistrates, and all the officials of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which King Nebuchadnezzar had set up. 3 So the satraps, the administrators, the governors, the counselors, the treasurers, the judges, the magistrates, and all the officials of the provinces gathered together for the dedication of the image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up. 4 Then a herald cried [b]aloud: “To you it is commanded, O peoples, nations, and languages, 5 that at the time you hear the sound of the horn, flute, harp, lyre, and psaltery, in symphony with all kinds of music, you shall fall down and worship the gold image that King Nebuchadnezzar has set up; 6 and whoever does not fall down and worship shall be cast immediately into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.”
