Welcome to today’s recording, part 2 of the message started last week. We become more like Jesus when we spend time with Him and in His Word. We also look at the benefits of ‘abiding in Him and His Word in us’. Before the Word in the recording is a testimony from Chris.

Isaiah 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You. 4 Trust in the Lord forever, For in Yah, the Lord, is everlasting strength.
Isaiah 40:28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord,
The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable.
29 He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall,
31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength;

How to have Peace in a Time of Crisis
Good evening. Today’s message from Nathan follows the worship videos below. Sadly it is only in note form, as the audio recording was unsuccessful. Please accept our apologies for this, but hopefully the substantial notes will prove an acceptable substitute.

Well! It is all over. I have had the treatment at Sheffield and now, God willing, will regain strength gradually over the next weeks. My grateful thanks for your prayers and support over this time. I can`t begin to count the number of messages and people who have been praying for us during this time. Most of all I thank God that although I had some trepidation he gave me peace in my heart. He has never promised we would be free from ailments but He has promised to be with us through them. When we were at the hospital I was able to take my own music to listen to while I was having the treatment and I chose to take the album ‘Year of Grace’ by Robin Mark. Read the rest of this entry »
